Why did Zylo choose Indianapolis for their corporate headquarters?

Three short years after opening, Zylo is the world's largest software as a service (SaaS) management platform. The company's co-founders, Ben Pippenger and Eric Christopher, identified their passion for SaaS solutions while working for then Indianapolis start-up, Exact Target. Eventually, their careers led each to leave the Indianapolis lives for new opportunities.

Ben and Eric each made their way back home to the Indy region in 2016 to create their new start-up, Zylo, with the help of Indianapolis-based venture studio, High Alpha. Two years later, they received an additional $9M in venture captial from the west coast.

Since their initial launch, Zylo has not had any trouble attracting world-class talent, and co-founder Ben Pippenger gives Indianapolis some of the credit. He said, "We have been able to hire really top tier talent from engineering, to customer-success, to sales folks and I attribute a lot of that to Indianapolis really helping us foster an environment and culture where people want to live here, they want to be here, they want to make an impact on the community. We also have a heck of a lot of talent here with a lot of universities feeding into the City of Indianapolis." Learn more about their start-up story in the Indy region in the video below.
